MOON ISLAND HOUSE

When I was on Moon Island (月島) in Tokyo I fell in love. I saw a very interesting barber pole, it was as tall as a small tree! This house features a wind-powered barber pole, a moon window, a tatami interior and child’s drawing on the noren fabric door—truly contemporary and a little bit of nostalgia too.
